I had my birthday party at this bar.a few weeks ago and the staff were incredibly giving of their time to guide and support me with the planning arrangements, including catering and the layout of the bar. I absolutely loved this place. For me it was the epitome of what a bar should be like! Firstly the guy running it, who I assume is the owner, was really friendly and engaging and just a really nice guy to talk to; very knowledgeable about the beers and the wines. He also knew his regulars well which is nice to see. We even struck up conversations with a couple of the regulars. A really sociable environment. The beers? We had a couple of great beers on tap and took some more away. All very good. He's only got 6 taps but some sensible procurement means there's going to be something for all tastes. If I didn't live thousands of miles away there is nonway that this wouldn't be on my regular hang out list. Hope they keep doing what they're doing until I can get back - Mike Smith. ★★★★★
